Dovizioso watches Cairoli’s and KTM 350 SX-F’s winning debut in Mantova Date: 2010-02-08 10:21:14 | Author: Daniele Rizzi Factory Honda MotoGP racer Andrea Dovizioso paid a visit to the Mantova Starcross last weekend to meet up with his friend Antonio Cairoli, who was the eventual winner of the event. The two Italians, who are both Red Bull backed athletes, share a strong passion for Motocross.
After completing a two day test session in Sepang, Malaysia, Dovizioso travelled back to Italy in time to watch Cairoli’s and the revolutionary KTM 350 SX-F’s racing debut.
One of the 2004 125cc World Champion’s secrets for a successful MotoGP career is a solid training program which includes several hours of practice in Motocross. Sometimes the factory Honda rider in MotoGP trains directly with Cairoli and the fans had a great time watching the two race the “Una gara per Luca” in the Franciacorta race track back in November 2009.
Dovizioso was not the only special guest in Mantova. Also 2010 Dakar winner Cyril Despres and other MotoGP racer Marco Melandri were present at the event.
